Olivia Palermo’s Chelsea28 fall 2016 collection for Nordstrom is finally here, and a single look at it will cheerfully overwhelm you with cool, Seventies-inspired vibes! As we browse through the Olivia Palermo x Chelsea28 fall 2016 line-up, we can’t help but get instantly smitten by Olivia’s unique style mixture of nostalgic boho-chic vibes and more contemporary lines, the refined cuts of which greatly live up to the sophisticated Chelsea28 name.
When Olivia Palermo announced her fall 2016 four-part collaboration with Nordstrom’s label Chelsea28 earlier this year, those who love the It-girl’s edgy style began counting the days until autumn, as they knew the pieces were going to be too cool to handle. Unsurprisingly, the garments are cool and covetable indeed.
When combining different patterns together, Palermo particularly focused on rich colors, as she specifically wanted to embody all the things that come along with the fall season, namely new projects, new stages in life, and new perspectives and anticipations.
When asked by Harper’s Baazar about the inspiration behind the collection, Palermo explained she and those at Chelsea28 Studio “wanted to continue to play with styles that layer or mix and match easily according to your personal taste. We definitely continued with the 70’s feel of the spring collection but added fall colors and elements like tie necklines that you can play with in different ways to have a retro or modern feel”.
The collection thus plays with versatility and different attitudes, with pieces that not only explore all of the autumnal-inspired patterns and themes, but also different styles, such as more conventionally feminine, as well as more androgynous looks. Floor-length layered frocks get alternated with modernized pinstripe suits, while cropped billowy culottes get combined with uber-delicate butterfly-sleeve tunics and mannish Oxford shoes.
To further emphasize the duality of the collection, Olivia Palermo took the time to study and experiment with fabrics, often mixing them together trying to either lighten up or darken the overall outfits.
“Texture was also key. We loved pairing light, romantic elements like ruffles and lace with edgy leather or menswear-inspired tailored pieces. Materials like chiffon have a lot of movement and add an extra-pretty element to balance the menswear styles,” she continued.
As for the volumes, for this Olivia Palermo x Chelsea28 fall 2016 collection she chose to greatly vary in style depending on the single outfit’s designed motif. While the casual-chic proposals got revamped with airy and cozy lines, often translated to bell-bottom jeans and blouses with plunging V-necklines, the more elegant staples feature sinuous lines that sensually hug the bodies, harmoniously baring large proportions of skin (unless worn with a plain white t-shirt underneath).
Palermo also adapted some of the pieces according to her signature style, so if you are looking for sharp, clean-cut lines and textured materials, this Chelsea 28 collection might be the right thing to check out.
The price tags of the Olivia Palermo x Chelsea28 fall 2016 collection pieces range from $79 to $499, and the line will be available for purchase at Nordstrom stores and online at Nordstrom.com starting from tomorrow, September 6th.
If someone ever asks me something about my outfit, they certainly don’t know what to ask about firstly. So it usually goes around the fact that my friends or even not so close people appreciate the way I dress, but I always get to hear: “I’m not sure what you’re doing to look so good”. The thing here is that I’m not doing anything special, I’m not an extravagant person. So yes, I really do know what they mean when they say that. It’s that moment when you admire someone but you simply can’t tell what you love so much about them.
Well, let me tell you my secret. It’s about the little things. Small details that make the difference. And one of these details are actually my replica Hermes bags. They add the right touch of sophistication every woman needs.
No, you don’t need to put up all the accessories in the world in order to look interesting and complex. You can keep it simple and chic, then just add that wow-factor that will put you in the right spotlight.
For me, my replica Hermes bags are the key in this matter. Whether I’m going for a walk, at the office or just shopping, sporting my fake Birkin bag is most of the times inevitable. It kind of became a reflex for me. And trust me, it’s not only about the idea of sporting a high-end purse. But it’s about the way you do it.
I’m sure you noticed so many women out there trying so hard to be different. But somehow, most of us have tried so hard to do that, that we all became alike. So if you ask me, the secret is doing it your way. And my way is about keeping it simple. Chic, elegant, sporty, it doesn’t matter your style. Just by adding the right Hermes bag can put you in the right spotlight without any efforts.
Hermes knockoff bags could very well be the answer to the most asked question lately: “What should I wear this summer?” Because we all find ourselves in this dilemma, I thought of pointing out the most important aspects that make a replica Hermes the best item you could sport this summer!
Summer is for sure one of the best seasons when it comes to fashion. Whether we talk about outfits, whether we talk about accessories, showing off your stylish choices is now easier than ever. But in order to do that, you need to find the best handbag for that. Because when it comes to outfits, I tend to create them depending on the bag I choose to sport. It has become a rule for me. And somehow, it works even better. I’m not sure if I’m doing this because I am obsessed with handbags, or simply because it’s a more efficient way to find the perfect dress for a certain day.
Anyway, talking about the right handbag for this summer, as you might have already guessed, I’ll be talking about Hermes knockoff bags. Since they are my favorite, I consider that the Birkin fake bag is the best choice for this summer. Why? Well there is more than one reason for that.
First would be its timeless and classy look. It’s a simple bag, yet incredibly sophisticated and special. Secondly, it’s very practical. As soon as we talk about summer, we talk about lots of stuff we need to carry with us. Such as water, soft tissues, antibacterial tissues and even an umbrella if needed. So we’ll totally need that space. Then, the third and most important reason would be its incredibly good looking aspect. It’s a versatile handbag, offering you the possibility of sporting it no matter the outfit
Therefore, a fake Birkin is the perfect choice for this summer. No matter we talk about functionality or outstanding outfits, this handbag will certainly put you in the right spotlight!
Thankfully it's not nearly as difficult to buy a Mansur Gavriel bag is at once was; no one longs for six-month wait lists, after all. Getting the exact size, material and color you want can still be a little bit tricky, though, which is why fans of the brand carefully plot purchases and track releases to ensure they'll score what they want. MG's Fall 2016 bags recently showed up at both Net-a-Porter andBergdorf Goodman, and because we take public service seriously, we're here to detail what's what.
Mansur Gavriel's Fall 2016 collection includes a lot new things. Not only are many of the brand's popular bags now available in several colors of suede and patent leather, but there's a new satchel tote, the Sun Bag, in two sizes and lots of fabrications and colors. There's also an old-school frame top handle, the Elegant Bag, which gives off exactly the vibe you'd expect from the name. Check out a representative sample of the new things available below and shop the full availability via Net-a-Porter and Bergdorf Goodman--while it lasts, of course.

Being obsessed with Forbes’ charts is something I deal with yearly, and I could scarcely keep a firm grip on my emotions when the chart of the highest paid supermodels of 2016was finally revealed on Forbes a few hours ago. This specific chart is interesting indeed not only due to fashion-related reasons, but also because it is quite revealing for what concerns marketing, social media and the so-called ‘influencer phenomenon’ we have been talking about for a while now.
Though iconic supermodels such Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima and Karlie Klossunsurprisingly made it to the list, most of the highest paid models of 2016 have one thing in common – millions and millions of followers on their social media accounts, particularly on Instagram.
Sure, both Bündchen and Kloss are very active on Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter too, but their success on such social media is the result of their longtime career, while most of the highest paid supermodels of 2016 we are about to see on this list, sort of began (or improved) their career thanks to their enthusiastic social media followers.
Although they surely would hit it big anyways, such a phenomenon is something Forbes (un)directly enhances and analyzes throughout its article regarding the world’s highest paid supermodels of 2016 (the word ‘insta-famous’ comes a few times within its paragraphs), and we also find it extremely interesting.
The list, however, also reveals a sad phenomenon we should all start talking about, and that’s the fashion’s industry worrying lack of diversity. Regarding this, Natalie Robehmed, a staff writer at Forbes, told the Independent: “The majority of the list is overwhelmingly white, which reflects the lack of diversity in campaigns.”
Then again, Forbes’s list of the highest paid supermodel of 2016 will make us giddy, and for various reasons! Here is the top 10 chart:
#1. Gisele Bündchen
The Brazilian supermodel, now 36, has topped the list for 14 years in a row now, earning around $30,500,000 this year. Speaking of a successful career!
#2. Adriana Lima
One of Bündchen’s dearest colleagues and fashion veterans, Lima earned $10.5 million in 2016.
#3. Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss
Two models got awarded with Forbes’ bronze medal this time around, namely Kendall Jenner and coder Karlie Kloss. The beauties earned $10 million in 2016.
#4. Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Like BFFs Jenner and Kloss, Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made it to the list with $9 million earned in 2016 (#squadgoals).
#5. Cara Delevingne
It has been an intense year for Suicide Squad’s Cara Delevingne, who has been vocal about her depression and contrasting feelings towards the fashion industry since the beginning of the year. As for her overall earnings, she waves 2016 goodbye with $8.5 million earned.
#6. Candice Swanepoel and Liu Wen
(Very) soon-to-be mom Candice Swanepoel and Chinese beauty Liu Wen both earned $7 million this year.
#7. Miranda Kerr
According to Forbes, Kora Organics’ founder earned $6 million in 2016.
#8. Natalia Vodianova and Lara Stone
Vodianova and Stone also made it to the list with their $5.5 million earned throughout the year.
#9. Doutzen Kroes, Kate Moss and Alessandra Ambrosio
This is probably Forbes’ most crowded position: Kroes, iconic Kate Moss and Ambrosio all earned $5 million.
#10. Joan Smalls
Last but not least, Puerto Rican model Smalls comes at the 10th position with a grand total of 4.5 million earned in 2016.
